Where Taylor Dancers Go

Check Out The Company Levels

Company 1 / Building Foundations >

Company 1 is the beginning of our Company training program for young dancers who are ready to grow beyond recreational classes and explore a deeper commitment to their dance education. At this level, dancers begin developing the discipline, confidence, and technical foundation needed for continued growth as performers.

Training focuses on strong ballet foundations, musicality, coordination, stage presence, and teamwork. Company 1 dancers study ballet, jazz, tap, and participate in rehearsals designed to build performance skills and introduce dancers to the expectations of a company environment. Through performances such as The Nutcracker and our Year-End Recital, dancers gain valuable experience while developing a love for performing.

Company 2 / Developing Technique & Artistry >

Company 2 is designed for dancers who are ready to continue advancing their technical training while exploring greater artistic challenges. At this level, dancers begin refining their movement quality, building strength and flexibility, and developing a deeper understanding of performance.

Training focuses on expanding ballet technique, improving versatility across multiple styles, and learning more complex choreography. Company 2 dancers continue their studies in ballet, jazz, tap, conditioning, and rehearsals while strengthening their confidence, musicality, and ability to work as part of an ensemble. Through performance opportunities, dancers continue growing into expressive and well-rounded artists.

Company 3 / Advancing Skills & Performance >

Company 3 is for dancers who are ready to take on more advanced technical and artistic challenges. Dancers at this level continue building strength, precision, and versatility while developing the skills needed to become confident performers.

Training expands to include ballet, pre-pointe, jazz, tap, modern, conditioning, and rehearsals focused on developing more complex movement and performance quality. Company 3 dancers work toward greater independence, artistry, and confidence while continuing to grow through productions, recitals, and community performances.

Company 4 / Refining the Artist >

Company 4 is a more intensive training level for dedicated dancers who are ready to make a greater commitment to their dance education. At this stage, dancers focus on refining advanced technique, strengthening their performance abilities, and developing their individual artistry.

Training includes ballet, pre-pointe/pointe, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, conditioning, and rehearsals. Dancers work closely with faculty to improve technical details, explore artistic expression, and collaborate with their peers. Company 4 provides dancers with opportunities to challenge themselves, grow as performers, and prepare for advanced performance experiences.

Company 5 / Pre-Professional Training >

Company 5 is our highest level of Company training, designed for dancers who are deeply committed to their growth as artists. Dancers at this level pursue advanced technical training while developing the discipline, artistry, and performance skills needed to reach their individual goals.

Company 5 dancers participate in intensive training including ballet/pointe, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, conditioning, and rehearsals. With a focus on advanced technique, artistic expression, and performance excellence, dancers are challenged to reach their fullest potential through productions, workshops, master classes, and performance opportunities. This level prepares dancers who wish to continue their dance education through college programs, professional opportunities, or simply pursue dance at the highest level possible.

I have been dancing with Ms. Jill since she opened her studio. She is such an amazing teacher and an amazing person. The way she explains things really helps you see what you are doing wrong and how to fix it. Ms. Jill makes classes fun for everyone and we still learn a whole lot. Everything i have learned about dance i have learned from Ms. Jill she has also taught me some very important life lessons. I am so glad she is my teacher!

This is my first year at Taylor Academy of Dance, and although the year is just getting started, I already love it! The studio has a very professional, warm & welcoming environment. All the students are very sweet. Miss Jill takes the time to get to know each & evry girl, and give them the individual attention they need to improve not only in their dancing, but in their self-confidence. She is an encouraging, compassionate, reassuring, and talented woman! She has really opened my eyes, and I am so happy and excited to see what the future has in store for me!
