The Jill M. Taylor Dance Company is a 501 C3 non-profit dance company that puts on a traditional, full-length Nutcracker every year complete with sets, costumes, rehearsals, and a full cast of dancers (see picture below).

The Jill M. Taylor Dance Company is also the only premier performing arts nonprofit company based out of Wake Forest, North Carolina. Many of our alumni continue to perform across the country in places like New York, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and beyond!

Dancers do not have to be enrolled in Taylor Academy of Dance to perform with Jill M. Taylor Dance Company. Auditions to be in the Nutcracker are open to all dancers in the area. In the past, dancers from Wake Forest, Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Rolesville and Henderson have performed with the Jill M. Taylor Dance Company. We welcome anyone who is interested in dance or the Nutcracker to audition!
