Bringing the Magic of The Nutcracker to Wake Forest
Bringing Dance to Our Community!
The Jill M. Taylor Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization based in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Each year, our company brings a full-length production of The Nutcracker to the stage, creating opportunities for dancers of all ages and experience levels to perform, grow, and share their love of dance with our community.
From beautiful costumes and elaborate sets to weeks of rehearsals and a talented cast of dancers, our production is a true community celebration of the performing arts.
A Company Built for Dancers
The Jill M. Taylor Dance Company is open to dancers throughout our community — you do not have to be enrolled at Taylor Academy of Dance to participate.
Dancers from Wake Forest, Raleigh, Rolesville, Durham, Cary, Henderson, and surrounding communities have joined our productions. Whether The Nutcracker is a longtime tradition for you or your first experience performing in a full-length production, we welcome dancers who are excited to be part of the magic.
More Than a Performance
Jill M. Taylor Dance Company exists to bring the performing arts to our community while giving young dancers meaningful opportunities to perform, collaborate, and grow.
Our productions are made possible through the dedication of our dancers, families, volunteers, supporters, and donors. Every costume, set piece, rehearsal, and performance represents a community coming together to make the arts accessible and meaningful.
How to Support the Magic
Our productions are made possible by a community of generous donors, volunteers, families, and supporters who believe in the power of the performing arts.
Your donation directly supports our dancers by helping provide the costumes, sets, props, production needs, and other resources that bring The Nutcracker to life. Your support allows our young dancers to experience the excitement of performing in a full-length production while creating memories, building confidence, and growing as artists.
Whether you give $50, $100, or more, every contribution helps make these opportunities possible for our dancers and helps us continue bringing the performing arts to our community.
Help us keep the magic on stage.
